Houghton Garia 601 M-22
Garia 601 M-22 is a light colored, anti-misting, medium viscosity cutting oil with active sulfur designed for machining and grinding of high alloyed steels, stainless steels, heat resistant or austenitic steels, aluminum alloys, and magnesium alloys. Garia 601 M-22 is particularly suited for use in difficult machining operations such as broaching, deep-hole drilling, tapping, shaping, or gear shaving.
Detailed Product Description
Garia 601 M-22 is based on hydro-treated mineral oil with low aromatic content. It contains a well-balanced combination of polar, extreme pressure, and anti-wear additives. These additives are selected to provide high load carrying properties ensuring long tool life and excellent surface quality of the machined workpieces. Garia 601 M-22 may discolor copper-based alloys due to active sulfur.
