Olympus Soluble Oil 202

Olympus Soluble Oil 202 is designed for medium to hard water. It does not foam in conventional applications; consult the office for high-pressure coolant applications.

Olympus Soluble Oil 202 forms a milky blue stable emulsion when mixed with water. It has excellent sump life. It contains hard water stabilizers, operator-friendly biocides, and pH conditioners

Olympus Soluble Oil 202 gives excellent results in modern CNC machining equipment. It is safe on all common metals. It performs well in drilling, milling, tapping, broaching, and centerless grinding.

Typical dilution percentages range from 5 to 15% oil, although 7% is ideal for most applications. Its mild pH, gentle nature, and pleasant odor result in good operator acceptance. ALWAYS ADD OIL TO WATER, NOT VICE VERSA. A good way to remember: “O.I.L.”-Oil In Last.

Olympus Soluble Oil 202 gives good interim rust protection to parts and machine tools. It may be cleaned with mild alkaline cleaners.
